General Info

Rainbow Escape Charters depart from Bullock Point Boat Ramp, Bullock Point Rd Inskip Point, Rainbow Beach Qld. All charters have a 4am departure time.

​All fishing equipment, bait and tackle is supplied by Rainbow Escape Charters. You are welcome to bring your own equipment if you desire. Rainbow Escape Charters will provide a range of soft drinks and bottled water. All charters are subject to weather conditions.

In the fortunate event of a charter reaching the Qld recreational fishing bag limits, the 250 litre esky filled, or unforeseen weather conditions, charters will return early. You will receive a confirmation call 12 hours prior to departure.  Feel free to contact us 48 hours in advance if you are worried about the weather.

​Extended Day Charter Options

Extended Day
Up to 12 Hours ​
Our shortest charter. This charter is for the fisher that wants to experience a little more than the average SE Qld Charter . On this charter we travel to mostly Rocky Reef and target species such as Snapper, Pearl Perch, Mulloway and Cod. You will get the chance to target trophy fish with live baits. We will travel a significant distance offshore from Fraser Island or East of the bar.  This charter offers day time Rocky Reef fishing at its best. 

​NEW - Extended Day Plus Charter
​Up to 12 Hours
This charter is for the fisher that wants to experience the best fishing grounds we have, with the convenience of finishing early enough to travel home. We travel much further and burn more fuel than the standard Extended day. On this charter we target Coral Reef species such as Red Emperor, Nannygai, Coral Trout and Tusk Fish.
​Well worth the extra money if you want colourful trophy fish.

Extreme Charter

Up to 15 Hours 
Our flagship charter, this charter is sought after by seasoned experienced fishers, probably the most popular and definitely the most successful of our charters.
​During your time on the water we will fish both sun up and sun down bite periods. Live baiting is the key to success however the extended time on the water allows us to experiment with artificials and cut baits to increase the variety. We leave in the dark and return after dark. Your skipper will impart knowledge from over 35 years of offshore fishing in the area, demonstrating techniques and bait presentation that will help you long after the experience. Typically your esky will be heavy at the end of the day. Due to the nature of this charter we recommend you seek accommodation for at least one if not both nights surrounding your trip.
